PowerStroke in full force

New brochure for the SITEMA PowerStroke now online

The SITEMA PowerStroke is getting ever more popular in a multitude of fields. In its earliest beginnings, it was used exclusively to close moulds, hence the original name “FormSchließKopf” (German for “mould closing head”), which still resonates in the product code “FSK”. Today, the PowerStroke is used in all different kinds of application where the separation of the fast stroke and the, you guessed it, power stroke, improves the machine concept. To name but a few examples, the PowerStroke is used for hydroforming of titan alloy sheets, in test rigs, to manufacture plastic, rubber or composite material parts or in insertion tools.

A while ago, we updated the PowerStroke technically, and the version where the rod is allowed to leave the PowerStroke and which has long been available as a special design only, was given the status of the new standard variant “SVE” (German for “Stange verlässt Einheit”, rod leaves unit).

With this positive trend as an occasion, we now also re-worked our information material and gave the PowerStroke the opportunity to present itself in full force. In the new brochure, we not only emphasized new application possibilities and the SVE version, but also improved the didactics for a better understanding of the PowerStroke’s concept, which even today is still truly innovative.
